FROM THE PRESIDENT’S DESK

Hi Members and Guests,

Our next club meeting is on Thursday, 4^th of March at 1.00pm,

Class enrolments begin at 12.30pm

Here is a short note on what is happening within our club.  We are currently upgrading all our computers to allow us to instruct the new operating system Windows 7.  This will allow us access to all 3 operating systems IE:  XP, VISTA & WINDOWS 7.  This should cater for everyone.  When this is completed we should be able to offer more classes in Windows 7.

The Committee will also be looking into purchasing another two new computers in the near future.

I am sure by now you all should have received your books of raffle tickets for our MEGA EASTER RAFFLE there will a number of prizes available in this raffle on the day.  It will be drawn at the meeting dated the 1st April 2010.  All ticket stubs and money to be returned prior to that date if possible.  Extra ticket books will be on sale on the day.

The success of our Christmas Raffle has made it easier to finance all the new upgrades and also the new equipment we are currently installing for your usage.

Our Guest speaker for March will be JENNY WEBB from

Lake Macquarie Council on Senior Drivers and the RTA.  I hope you enjoy this speaker and gain extra insight into the current alterations to our road rules.

Our April speaker will be JILL HALL Federal Member for Shortland, so bring along any questions you may have for her.
